This enhanced partnership is focused on consolidating and increasing overlapping business by identifying the areas where the strategies of the two companies align and can support each other to expand into new markets, gain new business and generate growth by diversifying their distribution model. Additionally, this growth maintained the company´s track record for outperforming the local market, which overall during 2015 / 16 experienced a moderate decrease[1]. &nbsp;

The UK remained unchanged as the most important source market worldwide for Hotelbeds Group, where the company offers UK intermediaries access to over 100,000 hotels, 19,000 transfers and 12,000 activities available in over 180 destinations globally.

As a destination for UK travellers, Spain was the top country during the 2015 / 2016 financial year, followed by the USA, Greece, Italy and Portugal. The fastest growing destinations for UK travellers were Spain, USA, Portugal, UAE and Mexico. By contrast, Turkey, France and Morocco were the destinations that experienced the greatest decrease compared to the previous year.

The company aims to further grow its leading position with a focus on driving the development of its differentiated product offer as well as continuing to invest in technology and innovation, with special efforts on data and analytics in order to better predict and react to changes in customer demand while optimising client service.

APItude Cloud has been created as a phase-two response to high customer demand for APItude and anticipates the need of customers for faster response times delivered via the decentralized server structure offered by the cloud – with servers for Asia and the Americas to be launched by late 2017.

Additionally APItude has incorporated new functionalities in the BookingAPI, and the ContentAPI. These will include booking modifications, more advanced filters to help clients find exactly what they need, the introduction of e-Vouchers, and an updated hotels list in order to further enhance the developer experience.

Palma, October 4, 2017 – Hotelbeds Group, a global bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry, has confirmed that – following the closure of the customary regulatory and legal procedures – GTA has officially joined the Group. [1]

A strategic integration plan is now underway to integrate both GTA and Tourico Holidays – which joined the Group in June – into Hotelbeds Group in a phased approach. &nbsp;

In the future, both hotel and ancillary partners, as well as travel intermediary clients, of all three companies will have access to an integrated and enhanced range of services, products and technology solutions drawn from the combination of all three.

To reflect the new combined organisation and to drive forward the integration across all functions, the new leadership team of the Group was today confirmed to employees globally and published on Hotelbeds Group´s website.

Joan Vilà remains Executive Chairman of Hotelbeds Group, with Carlos Muñoz continuing in his role as Managing Director Bedbank with the responsibility to manage the integration of the three businesses. Current Finance Director, Andrés Garcia takes on the Finance responsibility for the enlarged Group. Additionally various existing GTA, Tourico Holidays and Hotelbeds Group senior executives are taking leading roles across the enlarged organisation.

This morning the Group also confirmed that leading travel-technology executive José Antonio Tazón has been appointed Senior Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Advisory Committee, reflecting the Group´s status as both an independent and significantly larger company.

México se mantiene como tercer destino mundial y crece en número de reservas para el próximo verano


	Mallorca, Costa Brava, Gran Canaria, Costa del Sol y Tenerife son los destinos vacacionales con mayor número de producto de acomodación.
	Mallorca, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria y Costa del Sol son los destinos vacacionales más demandados en el territorio español para este verano.[1]
	La plataforma web ofrece a los agentes de viajes altas comisiones en el producto vacacional en comparación con el urbano.


Palma, 28 de junio de 2017 – Bedsonline, el proveedor global líder de acomodación y productos complementarios exclusivo para agencias de viaje, ha anunciado hoy su aumento de producto exclusivamente vacacional del 50% para afrontar la demanda para el verano en los principales destinos.

En Mallorca la plataforma ha aumentado un 42% el número de propiedades hasta alcanzar una cifra de alrededor de 1.000 hoteles, seguido de Costa Brava en el que ha aumentado un 69%, Gran Canaria (+63%), Costa del Sol (+48%) y Tenerife (+20%), que le siguen a la isla mediterránea en número de hoteles disponibles en su web exclusiva para agentes de viajes. En total, en el conjunto del territorio español, Bedsonline cuenta con más de 5.000 propiedades exclusivamente vacacionales. Entre el perfil vacacional se encuentran hoteles de múltiples categorías, destacando principalmente los de 4 estrellas, seguidos por apartamentos y aparta-hoteles vacacionales.

Este alto nivel de producto va alineado con la demanda que se ha registrado hasta el momento, siendo Mallorca, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria los principales destinos vacacionales del territorio español para todos los mercados este verano.

Este aumento en producto vacacional responde a la demanda del mercado, pero se le suma el valor de ser fuertemente atractivo para las agencias de viaje por su rentabilidad ya que Bedsonline ofrece a sus agencias una mayor comisión en este tipo de producto en comparación con el urbano.&nbsp;

Para este verano, la estancia media en las Islas Canarias supera la media nacional de 3,7 días, situándose en 6,3 días y seguida por los 5,9 días del destino Mallorca. Los mercados que visitarán más el conjunto de destinos españoles son el propio doméstico seguido de UK, Irlanda y Francia. Hay que destacar el incremento en un 18% del mercado irlandés y del 33% del mercado origen de Estados Unidos, Colombia, por su parte ha incrementado un 190%.

Según datos de la mayorista, los destinos más demandados para este verano son Cancún, Riviera Maya y Ciudad de México, representando más del 75% de las reservas realizadas en el país durante los meses de verano de junio a septiembre.

Las actividades más reservadas son Xcaret tour Cancún-Riviera Maya, las ruinas de Teotihuacan situadas en Ciudad de México y Coco Bongo en Cancún.

This strong growth is the result of an ambitious and long-term strategic plan to position Hotelbeds Group as the leading B2B specialist within the airline sector worldwide by building on three core principles:
