Palma, September 21, 2017 – Hotelbeds Group, a leading bedbank worldwide and a business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Broadway Inbound, group buyers and FIT Travel industry wholesalers.

This development will enhance the offering of theatre, shows and musicals available on the Hotelbeds Group platform for the Americas market, in particular in New York, Las Vegas and Chicago. The partnership will add 46 new theatre options to Transfer &amp; Activity Bank (TAB) portfolio.

Thanks to this integration online travel agents (OTAs), tour operators, bricks-and-mortar travel agents and airlines connected to the Hotelbeds Group platform will now be able to book tickets with real time availability using an automated system that allows the purchase of last minute tickets.

Backhotel 4.5, the latest version of Backhotel Engine and whose preliminary version was presented at Fitur 2017, is specially designed to increase direct channel sales for hotels through significant improvements that simplify usage and facilitate customers' purchase decisions. Moreover, Backhotel 4.5 also facilitates hoteliers’ management and is connected to the main Channel Managers, PMS and B2C distributors worldwide, meta search engines, gateways and payment methods, price comparison, reviews’ consolidators and various platforms to enhance direct sales for hotels.

Palma, October 4, 2017 – Hotelbeds Group, a global bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry, has confirmed that – following the closure of the customary regulatory and legal procedures – GTA has officially joined the Group. [1]

A strategic integration plan is now underway to integrate both GTA and Tourico Holidays – which joined the Group in June – into Hotelbeds Group in a phased approach. &nbsp;

In the future, both hotel and ancillary partners, as well as travel intermediary clients, of all three companies will have access to an integrated and enhanced range of services, products and technology solutions drawn from the combination of all three.

To reflect the new combined organisation and to drive forward the integration across all functions, the new leadership team of the Group was today confirmed to employees globally and published on Hotelbeds Group´s website.

Joan Vilà remains Executive Chairman of Hotelbeds Group, with Carlos Muñoz continuing in his role as Managing Director Bedbank with the responsibility to manage the integration of the three businesses. Current Finance Director, Andrés Garcia takes on the Finance responsibility for the enlarged Group. Additionally various existing GTA, Tourico Holidays and Hotelbeds Group senior executives are taking leading roles across the enlarged organisation.

This morning the Group also confirmed that leading travel-technology executive José Antonio Tazón has been appointed Senior Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Advisory Committee, reflecting the Group´s status as both an independent and significantly larger company.

Singapore, 25th October, 2017 – Hotelbeds Group, the business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has announced today – at the ITB Asia event taking place in Singapore – outstanding growth in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region during the full year of ´16/´17.

The Group´s Hotelbeds brand – which is focused on the wholesaler (OTAs, tour operators, airlines) – registered 20% year-on-year growth in room nights booked from the APAC source market.

Additionally during this period China was the top source market – for the second year running – within APAC with 46% growth in room nights for the Hotelbeds brand. Other top Asian source markets are India, South Korea, Indonesia and Australia

Meanwhile top APAC destinations booked via Hotelbeds platform globally were Bangkok followed by Hong Kong, Singapore, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur and Bali.

This news shows that China has emerged as one of the key strategic markets for Hotelbeds Group in APAC, becoming the 5th biggest source market, up from 22nd place only five years ago.&nbsp;

Additionally, CARNECT is able to confirm that it has now reached agreements with over 70 additional online travel agencies (OTAS), tour operators and ancillary revenue management platforms over the last 12 months only. This takes the total number to over 200 partners connected to CARNECT´s 500-plus car rental partners, including market leaders such as Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Alamo, and Enterprise that offer geographical coverage in over 170 countries.

Hotelbeds Group grows car rental sales 200% over three years


	La recolecta se llevó a cabo con motivo del día mundial de esta enfermedad
	El total de dinero proviene de donaciones de empleados y una aportación de 4.000 euros por parte de la empresa
	Se trata de la primera iniciativa global de la compañía en materia de sostenibilidad en la que participan trabajadores de las principales oficinas de todo el mundo


Palma, 31 de octubre de 2017. Hotelbeds Group, banco de camas líder y proveedor global B2B de servicios para la industria turística en todo el mundo, destinará más de 9.000 euros a la investigación contra el cáncer de mama fruto de la campaña de recaudación llevada a cabo globalmente por la compañía con motivo del día mundial del cáncer de mama.

La recaudación, que asciende a 9.134 euros, se consiguió durante la semana del 16 al 20 de octubre a través de donaciones de empleados y de la propia compañía, que aportó 4.000 euros. El total se repartirá entre la Breast Cancer Research Foundation de Estados Unidos y a la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) para contribuir a la prevención e investigación de esta enfermedad que padecen muchas personas, en su mayoría mujeres.&nbsp;

Elena Pérez, directora de Recursos Humanos en Hotelbeds Group comentó: “Durante toda una semana, del 16 al 20 de octubre, lanzamos diferentes actividades de concienciación en nuestras principales oficinas de todo el mundo (España, Singapur, Estados Unidos, México, Tailandia y China). Concretamente, el día 20 de octubre los empleados fueron a trabajar ataviados con prendas o detalles color de rosa para mostrar su apoyo a la causa. Ese día, la empresa en su sede central repartió lazos rosas, organizó una merienda con fruta fresca cortada y repostería casera, distribuyó&nbsp; folletos de concienciación y prevención, y expertos en la materia fueron a la sede de Mallorca y Barcelona a impartir charlas”.

“Se trata de la primera campaña global que el departamento de Sostenibilidad de Hotelbeds Group impulsa, en la que han participado empleados en todo el mundo. El feedback ha sido muy positivo y estamos muy orgullosos de ver la gran involucración y concienciación de los empleados en esta causa”. 

La encargada de dar las conferencias en las sedes de Palma y Barcelona fue la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC), quien trajo al doctor Torrecabota a Palma y a la psico-oncóloga Ana González a Barcelona. En sendas charlas se enfatizó el trabajo de la AECC y los expertos trataron la concienciación, la prevención y los tratamientos actuales para combatir el cáncer de mama.&nbsp;

Además de estas actividades, se lanzó la campaña de donaciones online donde los empleados aportaron su granito de arena a través de donaciones a la plataforma de la misma Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), que superó los 5.000 euros que irán íntegros a esta fundación.

Por último, algunos de los empleados que participaron en la iniciativa afirmaron que “es una muy buena campaña para sensibilizar a la gente sobre esta grave enfermedad, que nos toca a todos de alguna forma: durante nuestra vida, a una amiga, una madre, hermana o abuela”. Los donantes afirmaron que su aportación iba “en solidaridad con todas las mujeres afectadas por el cáncer de mama y con la esperanza de contribuir a la erradicación de esta terrible enfermedad”.

Esta recolecta de sensibilización y donaciones se llevó a cabo durante la semana del 16 al 20 de octubre, fechas destinadas nacional e internacionalmente a la difusión de campañas y apoyos contra el cáncer de mama.

Hotelbeds Group, the business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has revealed today – ahead of World Travel Market in London from 6-8 November – the trends for UK source market bookings through its platform during the full financial year of ´16/´17[1].

The United Kingdom once again remains the world´s most important source market for Hotelbeds Group, where the&nbsp; Group offers UK intermediaries access to over 120,000 hotels, 21,000 transfer routes and 12,000 activities, available in over 180 destinations globally.

Spain is the top country for British travellers whose bookings were made via the Group´s platform, with Mallorca followed by Tenerife as their favorite places to enjoy holidays. This reveals a clear preference for the sun and beach tourism. By number of bookings, these were followed by the Algarve (Portugal), Orlando (USA) and Benidorm (Spain).

The average stay of British travellers in these destinations was six nights, with only Orlando surpassing the average to reach seven nights per stay.

Additionally, as a destination, the trends registered by Hotelbeds Group´s platform globally also reveal that the main source of tourism for the UK was internal travellers, followed by Spanish, North American, German and Chinese tourists.

Palma, 8 November 2017. Hotelbeds Group, the business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has today provided – at the World Travel Market fair in London – an update on the latest stage of the integration of Tourico Holidays and GTA into the Group.&nbsp;

Accommodation available on the Group´s platform – including the recent additions of Tourico Holidays and GTA – have now risen from around 120,000 to approximately 170,000 unique hotels, a majority of which is directly contracted. This offers clients an even wider choice of hotel accommodation, particularly in the North American and Asia-Pacific markets where Tourico Holidays and GTA respectively have strong footprints.

Additionally the Group can confirm that the number of clients connected to its platforms via the wholesale channel have now risen to more than 7,000 clients following Tourico Holidays and GTA joining the group. This both diversifies and increases the reach that hotel and ancillaries suppliers now have via partnering with the Group.

The Group´s current IT platforms are now handling around 1 billion search requests per day – with peaks of up to 1.5 billion – from customers following the inclusion of Tourico Holidays and GTA.

Palma de Mallorca, 14 de Noviembre 2017 – Bedsonline, el proveedor global líder de acomodación y productos complementarios exclusivo para agencias de viaje, ha aumentado un 40% el tamaño de su equipo comercial en España en el último año.

En total, seis nuevos comerciales han entrado a formar parte de la compañía con sede en Palma de Mallorca para liderar su transformación, que tiene como objetivo ofrecer servicios de consultoría, además del tradicional apoyo comercial. Así, la mayor parte de las nuevas contrataciones han sido de perfiles de consultores. Los servicios de consultoría se darán a través de información práctica que ayude a los agentes de viaje a incentivar las ventas de su negocio.

Por otro lado, Bedsonline ha anunciado hoy la incorporación de Juan Manuel Maillo como responsable comercial para la zona de Andalucía Occidental.

 Bedsonline consolida su equipo comercial en España e incrementa un 40% su plantilla en el último año


	La compañía ha incrementado alrededor del 30% el número de agencias afiliadas a la plataforma.
	El mercado doméstico se sitúa una vez más como el preferido de los turistas mexicanos.
	Los mercados de origen que han incrementado más su interés en el país han sido Colombia, Estados Unidos y Holanda


Cancún, 14 de noviembre de 2017. Bedsonline, el proveedor global líder en alojamiento y productos complementarios online exclusivo para agencias de viaje, ha anunciado hoy un crecimiento en el número de clientes a cierre de su año fiscal 16/17 (30 de septiembre de 2017). En total, 4.500 agencias forman parte de la cartera de clientes de la mayorista, que ha incorporado un total de &nbsp;1.000 agencias más durante el último año anterior, lo que significa un &nbsp;incremento de alrededor del 30%.

Según datos de la plataforma, los principales mercados para Bedsonline en el año pasado fueron el mercado doméstico seguido de España, Colombia, Estados Unidos y Costa Rica.

De estos mercados de origen, los que más han incrementado su interés en México en el año fiscal 16/17 han sido Colombia, Estados Unidos y Holanda.

Por lo que se refiere a los destinos más reservados a través de la plataforma de Bedsonline, México se sitúa como destino preferido para los turistas mexicanos, aprovechando la cantidadde puntos de interés y el clima favorable. Los destinos de playa son los principales destinos con Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya y Acapulco como lugares más demandados.

En referencia a&nbsp; los destinos urbanos, Ciudad de México encabeza la lista, seguido de Mazatlán y Guadalajara. Fuera del país, París y Madrid son las destinaciones europeas más reservadas, que este año experimentan un crecimiento y alejan de la lista destinos tradicionales como Las Vegas y Orlando.

Francisco Morla, director de ventas de Bedsonline en América, asegura que “un año más podemos observar el interés que muestran los turistas mexicanos por el mercado doméstico, uno de los que más propuestas turísticas tiene y más interés levanta en nuestra plataforma. Los mexicanos eligen un año más sus playas, lo que se traduce en una confianza total de esta población hacia un destino que sigue en auge. Por otra parte, hay que destacar el interés de los mexicanos para salir de su país, apuntando a Europa como futuro destino extranjero preferido”.
