Palma, Spain, 20th October 2021 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, has today announced a preferred deal with YaVas, an OTA created by Volaris – the ultra-low-cost Mexican airline – that gives travellers the chance to find everything they need in one place and enjoy an unparalleled travel experience.

YaVas is a one-stop-shop booking engine that offers travellers the opportunity to buy airline tickets, accommodation, check in and carry on luggage, as well as transfers tickets and unique experiences.

This partnership puts Hotelbeds in a stronger position in the Americas – especially in Colombia, Central America, Mexico and the US source markets – thanks to the solid position that both Volaris and YaVas have in those countries.&nbsp;

This agreement provides YaVas with full access to Hotelbeds extensive portfolio of 180,000 hotel properties in 140 countries worldwide, many of which are contracted under special terms and conditions.

YaVas will also be able to offer their clients an extensive range of ancillary services from Hotelbeds’ ‘Beyond The Bed’ portfolio, which comprises 25,000 transfer routes, 18,000 activities in more than 680 destinations, and 30,000 pick-up locations in 170 countries.

Palma, Spain, 15th October 2021 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, today announced a new campaign with Travel South USA to introduce travel advisors to the southern states of the USA and promote both domestic and international tourism.

Starting this month, Hotelbeds will launch the campaign with Travel South USA focused on its extensive network of travel advisors in the US, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany, to promote the many authentic destinations included in the promotion.

In doing so, Hotelbeds aims to showcase the wide range of tourist attractions that the southern places have to offer, from beaches to mountains; from activity to leisure; from big cities to small towns, that can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Following the success of the 2020 campaign in cooperation with Travel South USA, this year's campaign will feature nine (9) states and fourteen (14) cities in the southern United States. Each destination will provide a unique and diverse experience for leisure tourists.

Hotelbeds extends deal with RateGain to confirm  its commitment to rate integrity  


	Beach destinations, such as Brazil and Mexico, have experienced the strongest growth in bookings, up 28% and 20% respectively compared to 2019.
	Punta Cana has consolidated its position as the destination with the highest growth in the last 4 weeks with 80%* more bookings.
	Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Chile are also among the countries that are showing the most improved signs of recovery in LATAM in recent weeks.


Palma, Spain, 22nd September 2021 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, has today confirmed a strong growth in hotel bookings in several Latin American destinations.

According to Hotelbeds' booking data, as a result of new openings in Latin American countries, the number of room nights sold has grown exponentially in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia in the lasts 8 weeks. &nbsp;

Over the same weeks, Brazil has increased its bookings by 28%*, making it one of the beach destinations with the strongest recovery while Mexico has also experienced a growth of around 20%*.&nbsp; The most popular Mexican destinations, for both local and international travellers – especially from the US –, are Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.

During the last 4 weeks in the Caribbean, Punta Cana has gained a lot of momentum and bookings have increased by 80%*. Puerto Rico and Jamaica have also been well positioned as destinations with solid growth recently.

Other countries, such as Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina, are gradually recovering to pre-pandemic levels now that their borders have opened.

From mid-September, Hotelbeds will launch a campaign with Visit Finland to promote Finland as a safe destination to its extensive network of travel advisors and promote the Nordic country's wide range of tourist attractions including northern lights sightings, skiing activities, visits to Lapland to meet Santa Claus as well as its traditional saunas.

Hotelbeds strongly believes in the potential of this campaign, as the US has historically been in the top 5 of the company’s main source markets for Finland. As a result of this agreement, Hotelbeds will be well placed to contract a greater range of Finnish hotels at exclusive rates in order to offer differentiated content to its extensive network of US travel advisors.
