	First agreement for Hotelbeds to supply dynamic packaging platform to a full-service commercial airline globally
	‘Singapore Airlines Holidays’-branded packages will be made available online progressively to Airline’s customers in over 20 source markets globally

London – Singapore, 5th September 2018. Hotelbeds Group and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have come together to form a holiday packaging partnership, offering bundled flights and hotel accommodation solutions to SIA’s customers.

This new collaboration enables SIA to take a step further by utilising Hotelbeds Group’s proprietary dynamic packaging platform to enable customers to curate their own holiday packages, with real-time selection of flights from SIA’s extensive network plus more than 170,000 hotels. More than 24,000 transfer routes and 18,000 activities such as theme parks and museums from Hotelbeds will be made available progressively.

Singapore Airlines’ customers will be able to book these customisable packages online in an easy and convenient manner. Customers will also be able to earn KrisFlyer miles on the total package value purchased. These packages will be progressively made available on SIA’s website across Singapore and other parts of Asia Pacific, as well as Europe, India and North America. Packages will first be introduced in Australia.

Hotelbeds Group will also provide a dedicated team – primarily based in Singapore – responsible not only for promoting the wide range of hotels available for the ‘Singapore Airlines Holidays’ product but also for customer service, pricing and product optimisation.

Palma, 4th September 2018. Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank, has announced today the appointment of Tracey Bartlam as the new Sales Manager covering the UK &amp; Scandinavian market for the Group’s Ancillary Bank, which distributes ancillary products (excursions, event tickets, theme parks, cruises and car rental products) to retail travel agents, wholesalers, tour operators, airlines, online travel agencies, hotel industry partners, activity providers, tourism boards and points of sale.

Bartlam has a career spanning more than 16 years in the retail travel sales industry, including as a national account manager for Attraction World, one of the world’s leading theme park and attraction ticket specialists.

In her new role Bartlam will help with the further consolidation of the Ancillary Bank division of Hotelbeds Group in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Bartlam will become part of a team that will now consist of five dedicated regional Sales &amp; Sourcing roles reporting directly to Peter Jones, the Head of Sales for Europe.

This appointment to the Ancillary Bank sales team in Europe comes at a strategic moment for the company after the recent announcement of a new structure for the department, following the integration of Tourico Holidays and GTA into the Group last year.

This new business structure was introduced a few months ago to ensure the optimization of cross-selling opportunities generated through the company’s diverse and global bedbank client base of more than 60,000 travel intermediaries around the world.

Ancillary Bank grows sales team with new Sales Manager for UK & Scandinavia

Orlando, Florida– August 22, 2018 - Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has today provided an update on the appointments of senior management across its Group in the Americas.

Matias Elisavetsky will now be taking the role of Regional Director of Sourcing for the Americas market, reporting to Sam Turner, the Wholesale Sales &amp; Sourcing Director for the Group globally.

Elisavetsky will be responsible for managing relationships with existing hotels across the Americas whilst also driving contracting for new properties using insight and intelligence from the Commercial Strategy team.

Prior to this role, Elisavetsky had been with Tourico Holidays, which became a part of Hotelbeds Group during summer of last year, since 2006, and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Global Product Development.

Additionally, the Group has confirmed the individuals who will report to Elisavetsky, combining existing internal talent from across the three bedbanks, Hotelbeds, GTA, and Tourico Holidays.

Renata Cenni will be the Regional Manager for South West USA; Alex Hugh Jones becomes Regional Manager for North East US; Alice Kilpatrick takes on the role of Regional Manager for South East US; Bill Chambers changes to Regional Manager for Rest of US &amp; Canada; Gisela Blok will be the Head of Mexico &amp; Caribbean; Marcus Simões is set to be Regional Manager for Brazil; Gaston Nacimento is placed as the Regional Manager for Rest of South America.

Palma, 21st August 2018. Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank, has announced today that its Ancillary Bank will launch a concierge service for use by the end traveler of its travel intermediary customers.

This new product offering will be available in Hotelbeds Group booking platforms - aimed at Fully Independent Travelers (FIT) - and will be available in both the Wholesale and Retail channels of the Group&nbsp; – including the Hotelbeds, Tourico Holidays, GTA and Bedsonline brands.

Travelers will be able to access a&nbsp;personal assistance hotline operated 24 hours per day, seven days per week&nbsp;by local people in both English and Spanish. This service will enrich in-destination local experiences for travelers through the expertise of local assistants offering services such as:


	Meet your concierge in person on arrival (on request)
	Interpretation / translation services
	Information on local infrastructure, services and transport
	Arrange, book and buy tours, tickets, attractions, events, transfers and car rentals
	Information on culture, lifestyle, sports and local traditions.


Hotelbeds Group is now offering this service in its key Latin American destinations&nbsp; – Punta Cana, Cancun and Riviera Maya – as well as in key destinations&nbsp; in Thailand such as Bangkok and Phuket and in popular Mediterranean &nbsp;destinations like Malta and Bodrum. These locations are mainly visited by travelers on holiday. Additionally the Group is also planning to launch this service in many others geographies in the following months.

Orlando, Florida– August 9, 2018 - Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has today announced the recent launch of its latest strategic sales initiative to boost sales for hotels in the Americas market until September.

As part of Hotelbeds Group’s commitment to boosting growth for its hotel partners and travel intermediary clients, the LATAM Origins program promotes top destinations in the Americas market via unique and discounted accommodation offerings in each of the chosen destinations.

Each week 15 destinations will become part of LATAM Origins for one week only, with clients informed in advance about the destinations and the specific offers available in order to prepare. The exclusive deals are sourced via the Group’s 230 strong dedicated sourcing and sales teams in Latin America.

The deals are available to all Hotelbeds Group’s Wholesale customers globally – whether via more niche channels such as an airline or points redemption scheme, or more traditional channels such as a tour operators or online travel agents – across the Hotelbeds, Tourico Holidays and GTA bedbank brands. This outstanding campaign focusses on offering aggressive discounts, to one destination each week, of up to 40% for the booking window period.

Palma, 24 July 2018. Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank, has unveiled a strategic partnership with Rezdy, the Sydney-based independent booking software provider specialising in tours &amp; attractions, to increase further the volume of real-time bookings for experiences globally on the Group’s platform and expand the Group’s global portfolio of tours &amp; activities.

The partnership will immediately bring an additional&nbsp;1,000 plus&nbsp;activities to Hotelbeds Group´s Ancillary Bank business, with that number increasing progressively over a one year period to integrate a percentage of the 65,000 total number of activities available on the Rezdy platform globally.

As a first stage of the integration the Group has already integrated activities from Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Barcelona. As the integration progresses, the Group will include more destinations in its platform, expanding to include Asia Pacific – where Rezdy has a particularly strong product base, having originally been founded in Australia. The high proportion of Asia Pacific content presents a significant opportunity for Hotelbeds Group given its high-growth potential, where recently year-on-year growth has been strong.

Orlando, Florida– July 18th, 2018 - Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has today provided a further &nbsp;update on the appointment of senior management positions across its Group.

Lauren Volcheff Atlass has been appointed the Regional Director of Wholesale Sales for the whole of the Americas, reporting directly to Sam Turner, the Wholesale Sales &amp; Sourcing Director with global responsibility. In this role, she will be responsible for managing relationships and driving growth with wholesale clients, including tour operators, airlines, points redemption schemes, online travel agents, and re-sellers. Previously, Atlass had been with Tourico Holidays, which joined Hotelbeds Group in the summer of 2017, for over 10 years and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.

The Group has additionally confirmed the regional management positions that will report into Atlass, combining the best talent from across the three bedbanks, Tourico Holidays, GTA, and Hotelbeds. Deborah Kenton will be the Regional Manager for North America – East, Sevil Arnavutoglu Le will cover North America – West, Emmanuel Labstida has been appointed to Central Latin America, and Alexandre Vanzella for Latin America – South, all as Regional Managers; meanwhile Lev Koutamonov will take the role of Regional Manager of Client Technical Solutions in the Americas.

Following the decision announced late last year of the selection of the IT platform and architecture for the enlarged organization, recently the Group confirmed that all of its bedbank brands – Hotelbeds, Bedsonline, Tourico Holidays, and GTA – will all be transitioned onto the same technology platform by the close of this year.

Debido a la importancia y tamaño del mercado español, la región se ha divido en tres zonas de la mano de tres directores regionales de perfil senior. Palma, 26th June 2018. Hotelbeds Group, the world´s leading bedbank, has announced a surge in reservations of over 100% for Russian hotels via its bedbank platform due to the FIFA World Cup tournament from June 14 to July 15.

According to Hotelbeds Group’s latest figures for bookings made via its bedbank brands – Hotelbeds, GTA, and Tourico Holidays – the Mexican and Brazilian source markets have experienced the biggest growth, with both having increased seven-fold the overall number of reservations for Russia[1].

Based on these same figures Spanish nationals are the top market travelling to Russia during this period, followed by Mexicans, Britons, United States nationals, Israelis, Chinese, Indians and Brazilians.

Meanwhile it should be noted that the number of reservations from Russian nationals during this World Cup period has decreased 26% compared to the previous year.

Moscow, which will host twelve of the games, has proved the most popular destination for reservations made via the Group´s platform, almost tripling bookings in this period compared to the same period last year.

Sam Turner, Wholesale Sales &amp; Sourcing Director at Hotelbeds Group commented: “We are very pleased to announce that we have increased by 100% our room night reservations in Russia for this World Cup, exceeding our expectations by some way – particularly for source markets like Brazil and Mexico where we have grown Russian bookings by a factor of seven.

“The Russian government has lived up to expectations by putting into practice very thorough and organised protocols for this event. We have noticed an increase in investment in the main Russian cities, mainly by refurbishing and upgrading the overall standard of properties. It can also be noted that there have been significant investments in construction. Additionally many investments in infrastructure have been made such as highways, airports and points of interests, amongst others.

“Russia has more than 5,000 hotels, a figure that increases as hotel chains inaugurate new establishments every year and we consider it a promising and growing market for both inbound and internal hotel reservations.”

Winning World Cup strategy for Hotelbeds Group in Russia

	The company will donate to the charity A21 the 15,400 euros raised from each booking made through its platform on June 12th

Palma, June 25th, 2018. Bedsonline, the leading global provider of accommodation and complementary products exclusively for travel agencies, has announced today that it has raised a total amount of 15,400 euros during the World Day Against Child Labor, which took place on June 12th.

The money gathered will be donated to A21 &nbsp;&nbsp;– a nonprofit organization that aims to abolish slavery everywhere – to focus on the charity´s Thailand Child Advocacy Center.

The total amount resulting from the one-day campaign – in which the company donated 1 euro for each booking made through its platform to A21– &nbsp;will benefit around 1,460 children to help prevent exploitation in some of the most vulnerable communities in South East Asia.

In particular the money will be deployed to support a primary school program focused on the risks of trafficking and exploitation for children, a street-children food and prevention program, and to develop a prevention picture book to report human trafficking.

The campaign was launched globally in Bedsonline’s main markets in Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas and aligned to the company’s commitment to fight against the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the travel &amp; tourism industry.&nbsp; This commitment is the result of the Group’s Child Protection Policy and The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism.
